Matias is Biochemist and Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Universidad de Concepcion. His postdoctoral project is funded by Fondecyt, and the title is: "Identification of Sall2 isoform-specific target genes in response to genotoxic stress"

Carlos is Bioengineer from Universidad de Concepcion. The title of his Ph.D. project is: "Unraveling Sall2 transcriptional targets: a transcriptomic approach."

Viviana is Bioengineer from Universidad de Concepcion. She obtained her M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry and Bioinformatics in 2012, and has been working with us ever since. Her current work is focused on post-translational regulation of Sall2 transcription factor and the physiological relevance of Sall2 degradation during cell cycle. Viviana also participates as Teaching Assistant in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. The title of her Ph.D. project is:

Estrella is PhD from Universidad de Concepcion. The title of her Ph.D. project was: “Functional relationship between Rheb GTPase and LKB1 kinase in tumor cell survival”

Mario is Bioengineer from Universidad de Concepcion. The title of his Ph.D. project was: “NUAK1 and cancer: new nuclear and cytoplasmic functions.”

Eli is Biochemist from Universidad de Concepcion. The title of her Master project is: "Role of the Sall2 transcription factor in cell migration: a possible regulator of focal adhesions."

Emilia is Bioengineer from Universidad de Concepcion. She got “Universidad de Concepcion Award”, reserved for the best students. She is currently working on her Ph.D. thesis project, studying the metabolic functions of NUAK1 in a cancer context. The title of the project is: "Study of NUAK1 function as regulator of mitochondrial activity in colon cancer cell lines".

Ginessa was born in Concepcion, Chile. She is Biologist from Universidad de Concepcion, and is currently writing her Master thesis. The title of her Master thesis project is “Role of the Sall2 transcription factor in the progression of the Cell Cycle: a possible regulator of Cyclin E” (Supervisors: Dr. Roxana Pincheira and Dr. Violeta Morin). Ginessa has two hobbies, basic piano teacher and lyric singer.

Marcelo has a BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics from Universidad de Concepcion. He is currently doing a research laboratory rotation in the TSC lab, before developing the Master thesis.

Claudia is Biochemist from Universidad de Concepcion. She is currently preparing her Ph.D. thesis project.
